How often should I get my carpet professionally cleaned?
To maintain carpet condition and beauty we recommend a professional cleaning at least every 6 months but no less than once a year.
Do I have to wait until it is dry to walk on the carpet?
The carpet may be walked on with clean feet or sock feet while still wet. Traffic on carpet should be limited until completely dry.
How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
Most carpet will dry within 2 - 4 hours. However, drying time depends on the length of time since last cleaning, humidity, and type
of carpet. Use of Air conditioning will help speed the process.
Does carpet protectants (scotchgard or teflon) really work?
Definitely!! Carpet protectants help prevent spills from setting into the fibers of the carpet. Most new carpet comes with protectant already on it. However, protectant will wear off due to foot traffic, vacuuming and cleaning etc. Therefore, it should be reapplied when carpet is cleaned.
How long will it take to clean my rug?
Most area rugs can be cleaned on site, however some may have difficult stains that require special attention. Oriental rugs also require special care that can only be administered at an off site location. In these type of situations, we will have your rugs finished and ready for pickup or delivery within 8 to 10 days - unless there are really tough stains that need even further attention to remove.
Can my carpet be salvaged after water damage occurs?
This depends on several factors, however, most of the time carpet and pad can be salvaged if done quickly and by professional technicians.
How can I reduce the chance of mold and mildew growing in my walls?
After water damage, the best way to prevent mold and mildew growth is to have a professional thoroughly dry all structures and treat with a mildewcide as quickly as possible.
